How long will it take?

All courses are different, but on average a level 2 NVQ tends to take between 4 and 6 months, with a level 3 NVQ taking between 6 and 9 months. These average time scales are based on an assessor visiting you every 3 weeks for approximately 2 hours a session. If an assessor is able to visit you more often, it is possible to complete your NVQ in as little as 12 weeks.

Will I have to do homework?

As the NVQ is a work based qualification, it is unlikely that you will have to do any work at home.
